Costa Rica is the second smallest country in Central America (after Salvador) but offers an exceptional
ecological diversity. Its geographic situation makes it possible for the cohabitation of fauna and flora
from North America, South America and the Antilles. From the savannah to the rich tropical forest,
passing through the beaches of fine sand, the Costa Rican scenery forces one to stop and marvel at
its diversity. Costa Rica is a true paradise for bird lovers. About 850 bird species live here.
